Jed began his career in the Investment Banking New Media Group at Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York providing IPO, debt finance, and merger and acquisitions advisory services prior to joining DreamWorks SKG in 1996. During his ten year career at DreamWorks, Mr. Simon managed aspects of its finance, distribution, marketing, and new media businesses, and was a senior executive at DreamWorks Records before assisting in the sale of the company to Universal Music Group. His last position with DreamWorks was Vice President of International Distribution and Marketing for DreamWorks Pictures, based in London. Mr. Simon graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Brown University and is on the Board of Directors for Brown University Sports Foundation and is active with the Los Angeles County Museum of Contemporary Art and Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Los Angeles.
Mennen began her career in the CIT training program where she spent rotations in the Client Credit, New Business Underwriting, Customer Credit, Audit, and Collateral Monitoring departments. Mennen later was promoted to Account Executive and Client Service Officer, managing a portfolio with approximately $500mil in annual volume. Mennen joined Celtic Capital, a Los Angeles-based Asset-Based Lending institution, working as the Vice President of Credit managing high risk clients. At FastPay, Mennen has been implementing improved policies and procedures for more systematic risk analysis and operational controls. Mennen earned a BA in Business from California State University, Long Beach.
Mark is a 2010 graduate of Harvard University, Cum Laude, where he majored in an interdisciplinary curriculum combining Economics and Philosophy. At FastPay, he is responsible for managing the deployment of new technologies to streamline the application process, improving the customer experience, and applying normal and non-normal statistical techniques to manage risk. His interests also include the application of algorithmic artificial intelligence and neural networks towards automating the sales funnel, facilitating the sales process, and general portfolio management. His specialty is dynamic languages, including Clojure, Ruby, and Java.
