  • Business Development Representative

    FastPay is seeking a Front End Engineer to join our team in Los Angeles!

    Job Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement solutions for the product visuals and experience
    • Design, develop and debug single page web applications
    • Develop core integration of workflow user interface with underlying FastPay technology platform
    • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.
    • Implement best practices in terms of front-end web framework build processes
    • Collaborate closely and regularly with the other teams, including Quality Engineering, Platform Engineering, Product Development, Project Management and Customer Service
    • As key member of the technology team, helps recruit, screen, hire, train, mentor, and coach technology candidates both within and outside the team

     

    Skills & Experience

    • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing web client applications
    • Rock solid core front-end technologies: JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, JSON, AJAX

    THE ROLE:

    FastPay is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our team in Los Angeles!

     

    Responsibilities: 

    • Develops new features in Java, Python, and SQL for the FastPay platform based on business technical requirements
    • Actively participates in all platform service & data infrastructure projects, including API development, database schema design, and ETL processes
    • Manage data aspects of the FastPay Platform including SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ETL processes (AWS centric pipeline)
    • Creates and updates technical documentation for projects including: functional specifications, process design and decomposition, data dictionaries, schema models, data flow, and entity relationship
    • Collaborates closely and regularly with the other teams, including Production & Quality Engineering, Product Development, Project Management and Operations

    THE OPPORTUNITY: 

    The Relationship Manager is responsible for leading a portfolio of customer relationships. Throughout the lifecycle of a customer, the Relationship Manager focuses on facilitating effective product implementations, maximizing customer engagement, exceeding customer expectations, and ensuring maximum customer reference-ability. This role reports to the Senior Vice President of Relationship Management.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ownership of the post-sale customer experience by developing strong relationships with key stakeholders at the management and user level
    • Drive customer adoption of the contracted FastPay product(s) and deliver consultative recommendations, which serve to increase revenue and the value derived from FastPay solutions.
    • Effectively demonstrate ROI to the customers through presentations and reporting
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customers receive the optimal service and solutions
    • Accurately forecast revenue and product usage metrics
    • Educate customers on industry trends and changes to ensure they are achieving the most value from the product(s)
    • Provide consistent customer feedback to the business to improve the products, processes and policies at FastPay
    • Attend conferences and tradeshows to stay knowledgeable about the latest industry trends and regulations

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Minimum of five years of customer engagement or account management experience
    • Experience implementing and delivering solutions based on customer needs
    • Strong communication skills and an ability to articulate complex material into easily understood concepts
    • Ability to consistently and accurately forecast revenue

    Job Description

    Our knowledge of the financial side of digital media business lives at the core of what we do. Our Payments and Collections Analyst will be at the heart of our business, handling a broad set of cash related responsibilities to meet our clients’ daily needs. These responsibilities include:

    • Intaking, processing and posting of client collections to the appropriate accounts
    • Balancing daily deposits to the general ledger
    • Identifying payment discrepancies and conferring with internal or external parties to resolve
    • Facilitating outbound disbursements to multiple clients in various payment methods
    • Recommending actions to resolve discrepancies with clients
    • Assisting in the development and innovation of our products and services to fit the intricacies of the market.
    • Preparing reports and fulfilling any audit related requests.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline including, business, economics, accounting, finance
    • Some work experience in a related field
    • Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills 
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Strong work ethic with the ability to work extended hours during critical periods
    • Ability to think “outside the box” and excel at creating better efficiencies
    • Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
