    The Role:

    Want to be part of the media world by working directly with leading media agencies to support their advertising payments through or ePay platform to the most influential media outlets?  The Media Operations Analyst assists with ensuring successful onboarding, analysis, and ensuring all media payments are dispatched through FastPay. The Media Operations Analyst is responsible supporting FastPay products and services to their contracted media agencies and brands.  This role provides customer support to the client, suppliers and our banking partners to ensure success of the ePay program.  This role reports to the Operations Manager.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide service and support to media agencies and brands for FastPay products and services
    • Responsible for ensuring that all assigned payments are delivered and processed in a timely manner
    • Research the complex media industry to create accurate organizational structures, payment acceptance policies and methods of media suppliers using databases, publicly available information online and smart data mining techniques
    • Educate media suppliers, agencies, and brands about FastPay products and assist in media payment discrepancies via calls and emails
    • Update internal systems with media supplier changes and provide detailed reporting for management, customers and partners
    • Collaborate with teammates and management to continually shift priorities based on department and client needs
    • Provide feedback, recommendations, and guidance for improving processes, systems, products, communication methods, etc.

    Requirements

    • Entry level with 1-2 years’ experience in sales, hospitality, retail, and/or customer service
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Ability to rapidly connect with people and lead discussions in a friendly and conversational manner
    • High comfort level with MS Office suite of products, rapid data entry (50+ wpm) and working with databases

    WHAT WILL YOU DO?
    The Product Manager is an accomplished achiever in designing, building and owning great software products. This role works in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Operations and our clients to improve our existing products and create new products. We are looking for someone who has solid product management experience with some technical expertise in the field of software, electronic payments, or general financial services.

    LOCATION:
    This role can be located in Los Angeles, CA OR Framingham, MA.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • You will interact with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to understand our clients’ goals and pain points and brainstorm ways to improve our products
    • Collaborate with Design and Engineering to bring your ideas to life, and roll them out to our clients quickly and painlessly
    • Study the media and B2B payments industry and ecosystem to understand strategic shifts and figure out how we can best capitalize of these developments
    • Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines
    • Provide detailed product specifications and requirements
    • Work closely with UI/UX designers, other product managers, and engineers to clarify requirements
    • Write detailed user stories, use cases and acceptance conditions
    • Work closely with project managers to organize and manage product development and product launches
    • Work in an agile framework and understand the scrum process

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 5+ years of relevant work experience, ideally in the fintech space

    Job Responsibilities

    • Achieve assigned quota within your given territory by selling FastPay’s portfolio of financial technology services and software development offerings for media industry clients.
    • Build a territory and account plan for the given fiscal year, leveraging existing pipeline, targeted account planning, prospecting efforts, and marketing initiatives.
    • Maintain pipeline progress and forecast accuracy, and opportunity progression via CRM.
    • Present FastPay’s value propositions and offerings to prospects and new clients.
    • Drive FastPay’s sales process and methodologies, collaborating with internal stakeholders (Customer Relationship, Marketing, Operations) to effectively close new client deals.
    • Be proficient in identifying, validating, and building relationships with all key individuals within a client’s organization.

    Job Requirements

    • Proven track record of closing $1M to $5M+ in software or digital services per year, having demonstrated sales experience within media or payments in new client accounts. 
    • Significant experience and strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem including a well-developed network of contacts, is a plus.
    • Skilled in all aspects of consultative sales and business development to include prospecting, initiation, deal qualification, closure, and customer satisfaction/client management.
    • A track record of opening new accounts and then growing them; and adeptness in building high-quality relationships versus taking a transactional approach.

    • Managing schemas (tables and views) in the data warehouse to support business analysts' querying needs for business analysis
    • Building ETL jobs and required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using Cloud services (like AWS or Azure) and SQL technologies
