  • ACH Operations Manager

    The Role:
    The ACH Operations Manager is responsible for the smooth execution of all ACH payments across the FastPay
    Network platform. The FastPay Network simplified the media payment process for both agencies and suppliers by
    automating the workflow and expediting billings in annual media payments. In this newly created hands-on role,
    you’ll be responsible for building the function from the ground up while preparing to scale and expand the team as
    volume grows. You’ll be responsible for the application of NACHA Rules and regulatory requirements to all aspects
    of daily work.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement business rules and processes around payment practices in collaboration with stakeholders; manage maintenance of and adherence to policies
    • Own day-to-day execution of ACH payments
    • Develop and implement fraud and risk mitigation factors
    • Investigate and resolve payments issues and fraud claims in collaboration with third party payment providers and various internal team
    • Deal directly with banks to manage exception scenarios such as stopping/returning ACH payments, clearing stuck payments, etc. 
    • Provide support to internal customers and stakeholders on matters involving ACH receipt and origination
    • Work across multiple departments to ensure effective communication, process implementation, and loss mitigation
    • Utilize fraud-monitoring tool to proactively research possible origination fraud prior to processing

     

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 5+ years of experience in ACH payments and compliance roles within a regulated financial services environment
    • Ability to exercise oversight, knowledge and understanding of ACH processes and policies in a complex financial operation
    • Strong understanding of ACH payment components, inclusive of PCI compliance
    • Strong understanding of treasury management systems and process
    • Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex information to identify the key issue/action and drive resolution

    The Role:

    The Payments Specialist is responsible for ensuring successful delivery and processing of all payments dispatched by FastPay.  This role also provides transactional support to suppliers ensuring that payments are processed efficiently and without error.  This role receives day-to-day direction from the Payments Supervisor and reports to the Operations Manager.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide service and support for payments dispatched by FastPay
    • Responsible for ensuring that all assigned payments are delivered and processed in a timely manner
    • Research organizational structures, payment acceptance policies and methods of media vendors using databases, publicly available information online and smart data mining techniques
    • Actively engage with suppliers via phone and email to qualify payment acceptance and methods
    • Assist in payment discrepancies via outbound and inbound calls and emails
    • Update internal systems with supplier changes
       

    Requirements

    • 1-2+ years data entry, accounts payable, or operations experience
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills
    • High comfort level with MS Office suite of products, especially Excel
    • Rapid data entry (50+ wpm) and working with databases

    Job Description

    Our knowledge of the financial side of digital media business lives at the core of what we do. Our Operations Analyst will be at the heart of our business, addressing customer requests and answering client questions. Additional responsibilities will include:

    • Acting as a liaison between FastPay and its clients in order to assist customers with problem-solving resolutions in a timely and efficient manner
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customers receive optimal service and solutions
    • Assist with the review and processing of daily advance requests and the intake of collections
    • Manage ongoing collection of financial statements to conduct periodic commercial credit review of clients

    About the role

    The Marketing Director will be responsible for owning the marketing plans, program execution and go-to-market for FastPay Payments solutions. In this role you will collaborate with the marketing, sales, and product teams to deliver innovative programs that result in new business and increased awareness of the FastPay brand with our customers and prospects. This role will be based in our Los Angeles, CA headquarters.  

     

    Responsibilities

    • Create, own and execute marketing plan and budget to deliver new revenue, opportunities, leads and awareness of FastPay payment solutions.
    • Seek out and manage partner marketing initiatives, plans and communication (Advantage, Mediaocean, MAGNET, AccountAbility, etc)
    • Understand the competitive landscape within media payments, political media payments and to some degree FinTech payments.
    • Stay on top of current payment and FinTech marketing trends and strategies and circulate relevant materials to the team.
    • Articulate the payments value proposition in a way that is easy to understand by client segments, role, and across the media vertical.
    • Plan and execute political media payments marketing GTM.
    • Develop themes for whitepapers, blog posts, infographics, webinars and more
