  • Senior Software Engineer

    Job Overview:
    FastPay is expanding its development team. We are looking for self-motivated, enthusiastic, energetic candidates looking for the challenges and rewards of working in a small startup environment. You will be part of a collaborative development team that develops, tests, deploys and supports FastPay's suite of media finance products.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, test, deploy and support FastPay’s suite of software products on our SaaS infrastructure
    • Actively research emerging technologies and provide proof of concept
    • Assist in mentoring and onboarding new software engineers
    • Actively participate in the Scrum team including estimating user stories, daily stand ups and maintaining the sprint backlog
    • Be an advocate for delivering quality, well documented, usable, scalable software
    • Actively collaborate with product management as part of product planning

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science / Data Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
    • 5+ years of experience in architecting, developing backend solutions (APIs) and building distrusted scalable systems
    • 5+ years of experience working on a web / mobile application in one or more areas of the following tech stack:
      • Web application development using HTML / CSS / JavaScript (experience with modern web application frameworks preferred: Ember.js, React, Vue)
    • REST-based web services (experience with Node.js and/or Java; Python is a plus)
    • SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL database experience; Graph databases experience is a plus
    • Strong knowledge with various cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS/ECS)
    • Work experience in one or more of the following areas:
      • Agile / Scrum SDLC
      • Linux / bash scripting
      • Unit / integration testing
      • Continuous Integration & Delivery
    • Deploying / maintaining software on IaaS / PaaS (experience with AWS & Docker preferred)

    The Role:
    FastPay is hiring a Client Success Manager to manage and grow existing accounts. The Client Success Manager will report to the VP, Client Success and provide a proactive, programmatic, and a long-term vision of the client’s journey with FastPay while ensuring a best-in-class Client Success framework is implemented. This role will focus on driving the growth and retention of SMB accounts, developing strong senior level relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring proper resource alignment to business needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Onboard and program manager FastPay’s SMB clients
    • Serve as the primary client contact and evangelist within FastPay
    • Coordinate internal resources to meet client objectives
    • Provide recaps of all client and internal meetings to your manager
    • Maintain existing relationships with senior leaders and develop new relationships with key contacts across client organizations
    • Serve as the account’s advocate within FastPay, managing escalations quickly and effectively and coordinating with appropriate departments within FastPay to take action on behalf of the customer
    • Lead contract renewals between the client and FastPay

    Requirements

    • 3-5 years client success experience
    • Preference to experience working with advertising agencies and corporate clients
    • Advanced excel skills and database experience  
    • Salesforce.com experience
    • Knowledge of media and media buying  
    • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Strong presentation skills and experience
    • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
    • Suit of armor and light saber skills a strong plus
