    Job Description

    Our knowledge of the financial side of digital media business lives at the core of what we do. FastPay is continually looking to deepen our understanding and innovate how we evaluate the incoming collateral to provide the best products possible for our clients.

    In that vein, Client Operations Analysts are responsible for reviewing client advance requests and verifying specific collateral as needed. The role will involve considerable engagement with our clients to stay appraised on funding and payment needs and handling delinquent accounts as needed.

    These responsibilities include:

    • Putting your inventive ideas to work in order to transform the client experience
    • Utilising strong analytical skills and attention to detail for operational and financing functions
    • Verifying client collateral and finding opportunities to change our verification processes

    What will you do?

    The Engineering Team of FastPay believes in simplifying people’s lives through innovation and technology. We are building brand new applications, as well as maintaining a suite of applications currently in production. These products take center stage in FastPay’s initiative to become leaders in the financial technology space.

    As the VP Engineering, you’ll lead the platform, QA, front-end, and data engineers, using the latest technologies to deliver high-performance applications that are powerful, elegant, and intuitive. You will have a hand in architecture, design, and implementation by thoughtfully leading a team of highly skilled engineers in both Los Angeles and Boston, and an offshore team in India.

    The FastPay engineering team builds the technology and data to challenge legacy data models in consumer, business and investment management. Traditional bank models are becoming more and more obsolete for high growth businesses. Our clients are entrepreneurs who need alternative data sources and rely on evolved technology products to replace stale technology from traditional lenders. In this role, you’ll lead the team that creates and evolves products that help other tech entrepreneurs grow their businesses, especially those who are underserved by large banks and other traditional lenders.

    The engineering team is filled with tinkerers, builders, and doers who love to learn constantly and enthusiastically from everything they do. The leader of this team will not only be a technical expert, but a true business leader who will reach across the aisle to be part of product ideation.  This leader will also inspire the team and will help mentor and grow each member of the team. This is an ideal opportunity to bring together your diverse technical experience in a role where your voice will influence and shape the technical direction of the company.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong experience in the agile software development methodology.
    • Good understanding of the current trends in software development architectures  (Microservices, APIs, distributed systems), software development languages (Java, NodeJS, React, EmberJS, Python, R, etc), and environments (AWS).
    • The ability to collaborate with the solution architecture team to achieve FastPay's vision to be a leader in the FinTech space and have software products that supersede client's expectations in terms of usability and performance.
    • BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
    • Extensive experience in software development and architecture
    • 7+ years leading people and examples of people development and career advancement
    • Proven success leading a large team of 30+ technology professionals in multiple locations
    • Executive presence with excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to evangelize ideas, develop business cases, and gain support across the enterprise

    • Develops new features in Java, Python, and SQL for the FastPay platform based on business technical requirements, with strong focus on building data oriented API's

    Job Description: 

    Our credit analysts own the credit and revenue quality of our portfolio. FastPay is constantly reviewing our clients’ financial picture to provide more value by re-assessing the lending structure when appropriate.

    Credit analysts will be reviewing overall portfolio level trends to manage FastPay’s overall credit risk. We will look for associates in this role to own the space and make recommendations on how we can continually improve the quality of the portfolio. Analysts will prepare recommendations for senior management on the financial status of the company.

    Job Duties:

    • Prepare and present loan exposure results to senior management on a biweekly basis
    • Spread and analyze financials to assess creditworthiness
    • Monitor red flags and Fast Pay’s watchlist
    • Work alongside Relationship Managers to strengthen retention efforts

    Qualifications:
