  • Product Marketing Manager, Supplier Solutions

    The Product Marketing Manager for Supplier Solutions will be responsible for all go-to-market activities for FastPay’s portfolio of supplier solutions. This position reports directly to the CMO and works cross-functionally across Sales, Product, Marketing, and the executive leadership team to drive awareness, enable sales with tools to succeed, and drive campaigns to acquire new clients, and onboard suppliers.

    The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing value propositions, product positioning in the marketplace, competitive assessments, and prioritizing customer requirements to the Product team. They are also responsible for outbound marketing activities such as working with the creative team to create new payments focused content and thought leadership, drive both strategy and product messaging for events, and create ABM campaigns to drive revenue for FastPay supplier solutions.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in product marketing working in tech, finance, or media and must have a passion for innovation.  This position is highly visible across the organization and requires a unique balance of strategic, creative, and analytical skills as well as superb project management experience.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Drive awareness and position FastPay supplier solutions value prop across the media landscape.
    • Develop online acquisition strategies and enhance product signup flow for supplier enrollment.
    • Partner with Sales to create and execute ABM campaigns targeting high value prospects
    • Work cross functionally with sales, product, client success, and operations to drive new product requirements and features.

    The role:

    FastPay is expanding its Account Development team.  We are looking for self-motivated, enthusiastic, energetic candidates looking for the challenges and rewards of working in a small startup environment.  You will be part of a collaborative development team and will work with enterprise level supplier deals and successfully manage and continue to develop the supplier solutions and product capabilities to support supplier AR needs. 

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Achieve assigned quota within your given territory by selling FastPay’s portfolio of financial technology services and software development offerings for media industry clients.
    • Build a territory and account plan for the given fiscal year, leveraging existing pipeline, targeted account planning, prospecting efforts, and marketing initiatives.
    • Maintain pipeline progress and forecast accuracy, and opportunity progression via CRM.
    • Present FastPay’s value propositions and offerings to prospects and new clients.
    • Drive FastPay’s sales process and methodologies, collaborating with internal stakeholders (Customer Relationship, Marketing, Operations) to effectively close new client deals.
    • Be proficient in identifying, validating, and building relationships with all key individuals within a client’s organization.
    • Drive contract negotiations with clients, leveraging internal and strategic business partners as appropriate.
    • Willingness to travel 50%+
    • Develop scalable processes to identify and capture new customers and partners in a competitive industry

    Job Requirements:

    • 7-10 years Sales, Business Development, or Product experience in media, ad tech, or related industry a plus
    • Proven track record of closing $1M to $5M+ in software or digital services per year, having demonstrated sales experience within media or payments in new client accounts.
    • Significant experience and strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem including a well-developed network of contacts, is a plus.
    • Skilled in all aspects of consultative sales and business development to include prospecting, initiation, deal qualification, closure, and customer satisfaction/client management.
    • Experience interfacing and selling products to both enterprise and smaller media suppliers and publishers
    • Strong understanding of media supplier ecosystem, preferably with pre-existing relationships with major media suppliers
    • Familiarity with media supply side ERP’s, accounting systems, and inventory management platforms within the media ecosystem a plus: Wideorbit, Mediaocean, Freewheel, Ad-Juster, Google Doubleclick suite, MOAT, Netsuite, Oracle, etc. a plus
